Today we had a men’s leadership meeting on Zoom for the church. We are going to continue doing online services rather than drive-in services due to lack of equipment and other logistical problems. I took Penny for her run and there was a lot more traffic on the road going and returning than there has been. This evening we went down to the beach for sunset.

It is interesting how some people only read the headlines rather than the whole article and form their opinion from that. Yesterday the county had the highest number of new cases since they have started tracking. I heard people panicking over the number of new cases and yet if they had read the full article, they would have known that all the new positives except one that the county health had not been able to contact yet were people who lived with or had close contact with people who were positive for the virus.

County health officials reported on Saturday two new cases of the novel coronavirus, bringing the total number of cases to 165 in the county and resuming the slow increase in the number of new cases.. County data show there are now 42 patients recovering at home and three patients recovering in the hospital, with one of them in the intensive care unit. The county has reported one COVID-19-related death. Health officials say 72% of the 165 people who have tested positive for the COVID-19 in the county have fully recovered.
