Today I went down to south county to get some items I needed. Walmart had the front of the store so people came in in a line through one door and out another. The isles in the store were set up so you went up one isle and down the next, though a few people did ignore the lane directions. On the way back part of the way traffic was almost at a standstill on Hwy 101 due to highway work. Penny got two runs today (on the way south and on the way back).
The county’s number of confirmed coronavirus cases remains at 132 with no new cases reported on Monday. Two COVID-19 patients remain hospitalized and one is in the ICU. This is one less patient in both the hospital and ICU compared to this weeken. Of the remaining patients, 18 are reportedly recovering at home and 111 are fully recovered. The county has had one death from COVID-19. Locally, one inmate has tested positive for coronavirus at the California Men’s Colony. A total of 14 Men’s Colony inmates have been tested. There has been only one death from the virus in the state prison system.
Here is a picture of the front of Wally World (Walmart) from today.

Penny is watching the road work on our way back from Walmart. It seems the state is taking advantage of the lighter traffic to do road repairs. I saw on a highway/amber alert sign that Hwy 5 would be completely shutdown this coming weekend in the LA area to remove an overpass.

The Morro Bay State Park and Golf Course is shutdown with the connecting road completely closed off.
