Today I met with another church member at where I take Penny to run. She had fun getting Penny to chase her and we had a nice visit while maintaining social distancing. After that I did my grocery shopping for the week. I wore the mask I made while I was shopping. It was hot and uncomfortable I am sure glad I don’t have to wear it all day like healthcare workers. I suppose real masks are a little more comfortable but I don’t plan on getting any as healthcare workers, first responders, store employees need the ones that are available.
The county is reporting three new confirmed cases of the virus today. That brings the total of cases reported in the county to 107. Of those 107 cases three are in the hospital with two in ICU, 20 are recovering at home, and health officials say 83 have fully recovered from the illness. There has been one death in the county attributed to COVID-19 virus.
