I took Penny for her run today. The county is requesting that people wear a mask or scarf over their mouth and nose when they go into buildings away from home. Since masks are not available in the stores, I had to make one. I had to go to the hardware store to get some small bungee cords. I folded a piece of cloth and then poked the hooks through the cloth to make bands to hold the mask on.
The county had their first death today from the coronavirus. The man was in his 80s and had been in intensive care on a ventilator. It was reported he had a history of other illnesses and conditions.
County Health reported no new cases on Saturday.
