Today the only place I went was to let Penny run and that is in an isolated area. I spent time on the phone today visiting with other members from the church. I am going to try to hold to a schedule of going for groceries on Wednesdays and going to pick up my mail and packages on Tuesdays and Fridays to minimize my contact with others. I may go out and do some photography by myself to pass some of the time alone.
There now 89 cases of the coronavirus in the county. However 15 of those cases have been health care workers. We need to remember the sacrifices that doctors, nurses, and other health care workers are making in this fight against the virus.
Of the 89 county residents who have tested positive for the virus, eight are in the hospital with three of those in intensive care, 33 people have recovered, and 48 of the infected individuals are recuperating at home. The breakdown by age of those in county who have contracted the virus is: three are under 18 years of age, 36 are between the ages of 18 to 49 years of age, 22 are between the ages of 50 to 64 years of age, and 28 are 65 and above.
