I did not do anything today except get my monthly delivery of meat and took Penny for her run. I heard a clip by Vince Scully, the longtime Dodger’s announcer, in which he said that just like the horrible times of World War 2 he believes that more people are praying now and that can only be good for America. I can not understand what it would be like to believe that everything was by chance and that this time on earth is it. I trust in God and know that everything happens for a purpose. Trials can often be a test of faith.
The county’s attempts to control the spread of the corona virus appear to be working, with the virus continuing a slow uptick in newly infected individuals. With the three additional cases reported today, 80 residents have tested positive since the first case was reported on March 14. As of this afternoon, of the 80 residents who have tested positive for the virus, 10 are in the hospital,with two in intensive care, 30 people have recovered, and 40 of the infected individuals are recuperating at home. The current estimated population of the county is 282,838 people.
